New Album Release: Björk: Fossora

Fossora is the 10th album from cultural icon Björk. The Album's name derived from the feminine version of the Latin word for digger and comes in various collectable format for the purists. The framework of the album draws from Björk’s experience being grounded during lockdown in her native Iceland and draws upon her characteristically eclectic and patchwork of musical styles.

Björk's multiplex musical experiences bridging music and art is evident as she displays here different influences and styles on Fossora. Caught up in a galactic cinematic throng, there's a real sense of her musical prowess, splintered with here unique voice, which we think touches on futuristic techno. The end result is a mixture of wonder, energy, and a nod to the personal - like all of her works this pushes boundaries, always bold, artists and distinctly individual from this unique and restless creative force.
