One of our favourite ( excuse the pun) French labels presents a new EP built with exclusive versions of the track all remixed and lovingly produced on Bruno 'Patchworks' Hovart's Afro-disco focused Violaa project.
On A Side, Brooklyn-based producer and remixer JKriv(Razor-N-Tape) provides his take on “Ku La Foon (feat. Lass)”, originally released on Voilaaa’s third and last album, a bouncy and heady affair that will appeal to the talented producers growing fan base. “Ben Bene La (feat. Lass)” is reworked by Patchworks, taking on Latin undertones and inspiration from the NY scene and its dancers, “Spanish Harlem” and Mongo Santamaria.
Head to the B side which does it for us another Patchworksremix, this time with probably one of Voilaaa’s biggest hits, “Spies Are Watching Me (feat Sir Jean)” a brilliant alternative take on a familiar favourite. All in a tasty EP that is sure to be a summer sizler.
